Morning all,

Just back from a wild weekend in Co.Donegal .... time to give the filters (resin and firecrest) a proper clean ... Just wondering how most folks go about giving their filters (and polariser) a clean (ie more than just a wipe with a microfibre cloth .. )

cheers,

Nige

I clean mine with plain water and kitchen paper towel. Just make sure there's no sand or grit on your filters.

Rocket blower followed by microfibre cloth, plus lenspen if needed.

kitchen grade paper towels are manufactured from wood pulp made in Paper Mills

there is NO guarantee they wont contain abrasive 'bits' - use a microfibre cloth IMO

I use fairy liquid and water and then a lens cloth to get rid of sand and salt
