Hey,

I'm looking to clean up my camera body so i can sell it...

Its a 350D and seems to have gained general grime around the grip areas....i've tried using small amounts of water on a cotton bud.....but not really that great...

i was wondering if dash board cleaning cloths would do the job? or would they eat it up?

any recommendations?

regards

AJ

Toothbrush and Windolene. (sp?)

That's what we used to use on all the used kit we bought when I worked at Morgan Camera's in Tottenham Court Road.

(Prepare to shudder if you're sensitive....)

Even the Leica's. :D

Toothbrush is your best option with some warm soapy water usually does the job.

yep, toothbrush here too and either water or a bit of soapy water :)

We use some wipes at work on laptops, pda's, screens, etc called "Big Yellow Wipes". You used to be able to get them in Halfords, and they're brilliant. They're soaked in a diluted IPA solution so it stinks to high heaven, gets you high as a kite, and shifts the muck off anything. Give me a shout if you're anywhere near Birmingham and I'll take it in to the office and give it a good scrub.

hey, thanks for all the replies....

esp. thanks for the offer in brum.....funnily enough im going there tomorrow night to see the girlfriend but i wont have time to meet up.....and you wont be at work :-) thanks again though.
