Clamping cars as a last resort

Well, it took a few minutes but I've reached the end, good to hear Rhody that all the effort you put into this has paid off almost 100%.

Thanks for reading it all mj4456 and for the comment.

It has taken a long hard slog to get the residents back their own parking bays but apart from the odd "difficult" case we are there now I think.

Until October that is, when it may all change again if we have to adopt an alternative means of protecting our own land from unauthorized parking.

It does mention the option of allowing Local Authorities to clamp on private land where required - so that would remove the cowboy clampers from the equation but I seriously doubt if the LA's have the manpower, resources or desire to go down that route.
Could you perhaps speak to your LA about contracting your current clampers as their authorised persons for clamping on your particular bit of private land?

That is a great idea Vicky thank you.

I was waiting to see what happened later in the year but it wouldn't do any harm to start talking to them now would it?

Many thanks for taking to time to make the suggestion - I really appreciate it.
