CLA in London area

Sendean will probably do it, although prepare for your wallet to be emptied by them.

But don't bother. There is Brian Mickleboro, and he deserves the business - a competent repairman and a very friendly guy on the phone as well, and there are others on this fora who can vouch for him. Just package your camera well, ensure you pick sufficient compensation level for your camera and send it by Special Delivery.

"Brian Mickleboro,

Formerly of The Studio Workshop, London. Brian Mickleboro is factory trained and has 30-40 years of experience in servicing Rollei cameras."

That's right. Brian is The Man

Can't recommend him highly enough. Did a super job on mine. Reasonable too.

Thanks guys,
I've contacted Brian and I'm going to post my camera off to him,
any idea how much he charges?
Alex

Mine CLA shutter speeds corrected, focus realigned £85 plus post.

Mine was CLA, he said that my camera actually needed very little work so he charged me £45 I believe. Even £85 is very good value compared to the prices you hear for Harry Fleenor, and I imagine most other places (which aren't even specialists). You can ask him to give you a rough quote before he starts, but it won't be that much (all things considered).

Just thought I'd update this, Brian did a great job on my Rollei and was a pleasure to deal with, so if anyone else is in need of a Rollei service I can heartily recommend him

Glad to hear the recommendation paid off, he really genuinely does deserve the accolades.

Get some film through the camera and upload the results, always great to see some TLR shots around! :)
