Citiwide Online

Did you add a Tamron SP AF17-50mm F/2.8 XR Di II LD ASP Canon Mount to your shopping basket by any chance?

Did get some stuff off eBay from them, ex Hong Kong Tho'. I assume they are grey?

Rule 12 may save you tax but no local warranty... Rule 6 may mean you need to learn Chinese...

12. Import Duty / Tax
The company is not responsible for any import duty and tax in all countries except UK.

6. Product Information
Please note that some products instruction manuals do not come in English. In the case you buy a product which does not have an English instruction manual, please contact us and we will happily send you information as to view the manual required in English.

If you look at the "GMV Award" (bottom left of the page), it's from Ebay.com.hk and their contact number is a Hong Kong one.

Poo.
Prefer NOT to use a HK based company.

Although I am printing out the page, and taking it to Jessops to see if they will price match :D
Worth a try!!

Thanks for the advice chaps

Er, no

Anyone used them?

:help:

When I clicked on your link to have a look at the website in question it already said I had one item in my shopping basket: Tamron SP AF17-50mm F/2.8 XR Di II LD ASP Canon Mount

Now I am not a cannon user but I note you are hence why I asked the question.

Also add to this if you had, even if you hadn't for that matter, added that lens then would anyone really want to be buying from a company/website that "dumps" information from one customer onto another totally random shopper, who knows what other information they may "dump" or reveal

How VERY strange.
I surely didn't add anything to my 'basket'...........

Not to worry. I was looking to buy a 60D from them, but decided against it now and went to Jessops :D

I used them when I was in Oz; they were pretty good. There is a thread on Whirlpool.net.au about them. In general they were found to be quite reliable.

The only issue I might have with them is that you will likely be caught by customs here in the UK. In Oz, customs don't kick in till you have spent over AU$1,000 and they frequently mark down the value on the declaration tag.
