I currently have a Tamron 17-50mm f2.8 XR Di-II LD ASP IF Lens - Nikon Fit lens which I use with my D200.

Anyway as I'm going on Holiday real soon to Spain, I was looking at getting a Circular Polarizer filter for that lens. Mostly to help keep the sky it's nice blue colour and reduce glare etc. I understand it's a 67mm thread or so I believe.

I was looking at getting this filter here - http://www.microglobe.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?pName=hoya-67mm-circular-polarizer-glass-filter

Is that any good? As i don't have much experience with Filters.

i use hoya pro 1 filters, they cost a bit more than the one you're quoting, but worth it in my opinion, you can find them a bit cheaper on ebay

have a "search" through all the other threads currently on this subject......

the Blue box and the Green box models are at the bottom of the range ......:shake:

Hoya pro1 digital cpl cheaper.. "Amazon"

I had no idea they where the low end range.
I might get that pro one

I would check the thread size of your lens as they can differ. My three lenses all have different thread sizes.

I did check the lens and it has a Filter thread (mm) 67, also it's printed on the lens, i believe it's the value next to the o with the line through it on the lens

Took 2 days to arrive from ordering with mine... So if you do it now you should be OK, unless you pay the extra couple of quid for expedited....

Ooops I mis-read your post, it seems that you did opt for express....

Yer i just for some reason don't trust that 3-5 delivery time.....
Just ordered it. Also done a bit of research and found they are good quality anyway apparently. Double coated etc.

However i bloody hope this arrives before i go on holiday

I ordered mine on their 3-5 and it took 2days after ordering so, I would expect so if you have the 1-****...

They do supply a tracking reference so you can check that later (they will prob send that a bit later today)...
