Just been to Jessops this afternoon - just popped in whilst passing by - to have a quick look at their polarisers. I currently have a 17-85mm EF-S lens but I'm highly likely to upgrade to the 17-40mm L series at some point soon. That means a thread size of 67mm now then 77mm later with the L lens.
Currently using Cokin P filters but feeling the urge for a Lee filters ND and ND Grad upgrade. So, not sure I want to spend the money on the Cokin Polariser. But is it any good?
Firstly, is it a good idea to get the future-proof 77mm filter and use a stepping ring for My 17-85mm, then on it's own with the 17-40mm L?
Also, who makes the Jessops circular polarisers and are they any good. Anyone got any feedback about Jessops, Hoya standard, Hoya Digital and B&W polarisers??? Any differences you know of??
Cheers! Many thanks.
