After five years of GTs and Touring Cars I've been told that I am off to Brands Hatch at the weekend for the MGJ Engineering Brands Hatch Stages Rally. I've never shot any kind of rally before but am up for the challenge, which is even more of a trial as I don't have a media pass, for the first time in god knows how long!
The rally is based on eight stages using the Indy layout and parts of the pits and both paddocks. I'm stuck with public areas only which means I cant get into the middle of the circuit except at Druids which is the only part of my comfort zone Ill be able to get to.
Does anyone have any tips for me about how to shoot a rally?
Has anyone done the Brands stages before and can recommend places to be?
I will have a little recce time of my own as I'm heading down the day before to get service park shots and setup.
