Prize is a free day in the park with their professional tog, so should be fun.

Chuffed indeed - well done - I'd be Lion if I said I wasn't envious of a day there

nice one, have a good day out too. :)

Well done, mum works at the KSP, I live just round the corner. The official photographer for the parks name is Penny, spoke to her a few times. She's a Canon (woops, I thought Nikon) user, and wife to the guy who's head ranger of all of the animals. She has total access to any animals, any time she likes, so obviously she has some amazing opportunities.

The prize you won is worth £150 - I expect as you won the competition you'll get treated that extra bit special, so bravo!

I know this is a tall order, but on the day if you get any decent shots of the 'Wild Dogs' (African Hunting Dogs- opposite the tigers) then please post them, Mum and friends there have recently done collections to sponsor a new ranch in Africa for the wild ones, they raised 11k which is amazing I think, and I tried to get decent shots myself but car + fence + weather have always meant mine are not frame worthy.

I have a couple I like from the trip I got the tiger pic on and a couple from a previous trip (I got runner up last year with a dog picture) I'll dig them out at the weekend and drop you a line.

I've met Penny a few times before and last time I saw her, she was definitely a Canon user (1Ds Mk II)

Great shot and well done.

You get that shot earlier in the year when we were there with you?

The day out with Penny will be an absolute treat too. You'll have to ask her if you can buy a day with her and how much it costs.

Thanks Matt. Yes, it was the day we were all there. It was the last shot from 2 days there. They were hassling me to pack up as everyone was ready to go and I just had a feeling that the tiger was about to move. Glad I ignored them!

I've talked to Penny and we've agreed to do the day in the spring when stuff should be more photogenic. I'll let you know how it goes at that point.

Paul
