Chuffed, one of my shots got used

I have only had my SLR for a short while so this is really a nice compliment for me.

Thats a little harsh! Looks like the OP knew exactly what the score was and was more than happy to have his thumbnail included FOC.

I've had a couple accepted myself by schmap, nice feeling it is too! (and not an 'ego-trip')

The OP said 'it was a nice compliment' - I was pointing out that it isn't - they take anything they can get for free!! Sure it's nice to get stuff published but I'm afraid this is about money - the money this company makes at the expense of photographers - and it's happening more and more.
