Chrome Browser - Making Payments Online

Does anyone else have problems trying to pay online with a credit or debit card when using Chrome? Driving me batty! hings go normally until actually confirming the order (after entering payment details). In my case the Barclaycard Secure page comes up but then it goes back to the 'confirm payment page'. If I go to the Barclaycard Secure website I can see the entry for the purchase. However, the actual payment doesn't go through. Don't have any trouble using Firefox!

Rarely have a problem here with Chrome, and if I do it's almost always due to my adblocker being a little overzealous and blocking something important.

Sometimes have to enter details more than once. never thought it could be chrome.

Recently, on four occasions and when using Chrome, I have gone to Google to find wickes.co.uk login page. Then' on trying to log in to Wickes I just get thrown back to Google search page. Happened again a few minutes ago. No problem with Firefox, Opera and IE.
If I use Chrome to go to wickes.co.uk without going via Google there is not a problem.
Most odd.

Are you confident your device is not infested with viruses and that you are not actually entering your data on some fake site?

Yes. It happens on any site and I get no problems using a different browser n the same PC. I've got up to date anti virus software and run scans regularly.
