Chroma Key in Elements

Is there an equivalent to chroma key in PS Elements. I am selling my bicycle on ebay and want to do to typical catalogue shot of the object keyed over a white background , with a soft drop shadow.

Did you shoot it on a solid colour background (green or blue usually for Chroma)?

I shot against green, because the bike is blue. This was just an idea I had on the spur of the moment - The green screen was a sheet on the washing line, with a garden fork behind it to support the bike. The sheet wasn't really green enough and the lighting uneven. However the magic wand tool works to an extent, but its tedious doing the spaces between the spokes and cables etc. I work in TV where I'm used applying one effect to do the job in one operation. I imagine the full version of PS must be able to do this as it is such a common requirement.

In the full version, you can use "Select Colour Range" and use that for the mask. Not sure if it's available in Elements though.

Try using the "Magic Extractor Tool" in Elements 6/7 or 8 it should do this kind of job easily.
