I've had a right faff getting the Christmas tree lights going this year so I was contemplating going for some LED ones HOWEVER we like multi-coloured lights but really don't like the intense colours of the bog-standard LED lights you see all over the place. So the question is does anyone know of any LED lights that have the softer tones of multi-colour incandescents?

A couple of years ago, Tesco had a set of 20 white USB powered LEDs with brightly coloured 10mm spherical plastic covers.
The result, when plugged in, was a set of pastel pinks, blues, greens, and yellows.
Unfortunately, I haven't seen them since, but at least you now know that what you require does exist.

Agree that something like that would be the best option for softer colours.

@sirch Google "berry lights" and you should get a good selection to choose from.
For the Christmas tree, mains power is probably more practical than USB, so maybe something like these?

Thanks for the suggestions, I hadn't considered the berry type lights, good idea I'll have a look.

If not, now's the time to buy! 1/2 marked price in Wilko now.

@sirch , did you find what you were looking for?
No I didn't, the selection was pretty limited just before Christmas so I put up with finding duff bulbs in the set we have

Thanks for the heads-up, I'll have a look if I get chance

Thanks @Tori_T, I'll have to have a look in Tesco, nearest one is a bit of a distance away though :(

<edit>
Just found some online and ordered them for next Christmas, organised or what! :)
