Christmas present from work

Times are hard I have been told by my managers and production cut but as recognition of the work forces efforts in a difficult trading envorioment we are still getting our annual Christmas gift from work....

£50 of shopping vouchers from Woolworths. !

Before I was self employed I twice (out of five times) got made redundant at Christmas. When I first started work I did not choose my places of employment too well - the three day week did for a few companies (although I managed to work 6 days at two different jobs !).

During the money crunch in the early 90's the company I worked for gave us £50 of Sainsbury vouchers. I got told off by the personel dept for referring to them as "Beer Vouchers"

If I were you I'd get to your local branch as soon as you can-judging by some of the rubbish in ours you might have trouble spending them...
