Yes
I've got 3 so far. Captain popular me. None off any family yet.

:sulk:

Do I get bonus points for using 'fewer' instead of 'less'?

Definitely had fewer this year. I guess the price of a card and a stamp has just got too much for some people. My kids seem to think a text does the same job anyway. :(

Family and neighbours, none off colleagues but I never send any out. Sending Christmas wishes to people you'd rather see suffering is just a waste of time

I have 1 so far from my friend Ray at the boat club , not exspecting any more either :D

Our Christmas Card "List" is getting smaller as the years go by, it's not just the cost.

Why am I sending a card to someone I have not see or spoken to for 10 years and not likely to see in the next 10 years. By the same token why do I send them to people I see or talk to every week.

none for me ... unless you count the electronic ones ..... huge waste of paper and time in my grinchy opinion.

The only ones "I" have received have been to my wife and I as a couple, personally I've received none, not a single one from anybody, then again I never send any and tbh it's the one part of Christmas that I dont really like at all.
Just dont see the point. I'm in touch with those I want to be in touch with all year so see no point in Christmas cards at all.
I will get the wife one though :) as I prefer to eat rather than wear my Christmas dinner.
Matt

I'll get my wife a card, but that's about it. She will probably send a few, and we might get half a dozen at the most. That's it. Kids will get e-cards because they're in SA and the post office will automatically steal anything resembling a card because it might have money in it...

I've got 1, from my niece, but it was more a thank you for helping her out so I'm cool with that. As for Xmas cards in general, I think I've finally got it into peoples heads that they should not bother sending a card to me. I won't reciprocate the sentiment.

We noticed this last night, a lot less cards than normal!

We send only a few to older acquaintances who are alone or for other reasons appreciate them. Family, friends etc all have regular contact and will neither send nor receive cards from us.

A CAFOD goat / twinned toilet / Bóthar cow somewhere in the world have the names of our family and friends in lieu of cards and gifts to immediate family this year and for many years past.

A few close friends will get a gift (wine / homemade cakes etc) when we visit.

I've had none myself but my parter has had a few from clients at work (hairdresser) and her family. Think my generation send less cards to be honest, I don't know that many people who send cards out.

We've had loads of cards delivered to our house for the people we bought it from in June though, some from as far as Australia

Put em up in your house.....they'll never know :D

Maybe slightly fewer, but most folk we (well not me specifically  ) send to, reciprocate every year. A couple of old family friends are no longer with us, but the number of family/kids has increased.

It is more of a female thing anyway, but it will become a thing of the past before too long.
(a few elderly relatives still send & like to receive post cards of holidays  )

We cut the front off corn flake boxes and hang them on our walls. From a distance the neighbours think we have lots of Christmas cards.

Zero, Nada, a vacuum....

Hurray

I have just got the usual two. Everyone knows I cannot be arsed with sending or receiving cards, but the same two people who send me cards insist that they like to acknowledge the help I give them from time to time and intend to keep giving me cards. I have to admit that I appreciate the genuine thought.
