I thought it might be fun to see all the Christmassy avatars!

Mine is a photo of me, sat on a rocking swan, Christmas 1958! :baby:

Mine is my 1D gettig into the Christmas spirit in anticipation of mating with a new friend. :D
 
Seriously, it's only just Novemeber. Christmas is ages away!!
 
you are right, and I saw christmas light already up in a village near here, its out of line...too much pressure but this is harmless...we're just being silly ;)
 
Lavrentiy Beria, Head of the Checka and OGPU (forerunners of the KGB) and the man rumoured to have watched Stalin die (and not called the guards to assist him).
He succeeded Stalin but was then executed on the orders of Marshall of the Soviet Union Georgii Zhukov (whom Beria had exiled to a Far Eastern command some years earlier when it appeared that Zhukov was becoming too popular and a possible threat to Beria's plans to be Stalin's successor).
Beria, despite his ruthlessness and many faults as a man (murderer, rapist, paedophile etc.) had intended to instigate more open relations with the West and by all accounts, had he lived, the Cold War would have ended 30 years earlier than it finally did under Gorbachev.
A Good Communist.

Don't bring this place down to the level of OcUK with the annoying grammer and spelling comments :p

Is it just me who doesn't want to hear about Christmas until a week or two before it? :lol:

Mine is my VERY old lemon avatar with a chrimbo hat and some holy (don't know why).

I see Marcel is still avoiding going christmassy! Then again having a flooded flat might not make you feel in the spirit I guess :(

OK, my favorite band ever is Marillion, I've followed them ever since their first single in 1981! The B side to the 12" version of that single was called Grendel. It is a 17 minute song about Grendel, a character in a book by Tolkin called The Silmarillion. My avatar is the album cover the their latest album titled Marbles. The picture is actually half a girl's face on the left and half a boy's face on the right. They're called Jack and Cassie. Oh and of course, I've popped a Christmas hat on them!

Dont worry, NOTHING will ever stop me getting in the christmas mood. I just so love christmas :D

I'm gonna poppy up until the 11th, then it's all out christmas baby!

Infact, I have an idea....Once Armastice day is over, how bout we christmas up the logo a bit :D

My Avatar is me flying my wonderful flying machine and elevator to views hitherto unseen by, er, well....... me mostly!

It took me ages to get set up in Christmas costume, take off, in same clothes and similar light to get shot for Christmas avatar! :D

I think Grendel's cartoony hat is fab!

I thought that Arky's photo looked a bit serious...am I meant to like this guy or what? :suspect: What is the difference between a good and bad communist or shouldn't I ask? :shrug: I am balancing precariously on this fence...... :help:
