Christening photo massacre

My wife has just asked me to view a friends christening collection via the internet from a company they hired to do the job.

To be honest i'm appalled at the quality of these shots, some are out of focus, in dire need of cropping, and the bloke has definitely not used any lighting at all because half of them are that dark the hair blends into the background.

I cant believe someone is making money off these shots, the site says years of experience as professional toggers??what would you guys and galls do in this predicament??

Do i tell the wife to tell her friend to complain or do i keep out of it?

I have the log in needed to view these shots but didnt know if it would be allowed.
 
I would love to see some just to see how bad they are.

How do the couple feel, do they like them or not.
 
Dunno mate as i said its a friend of the wife who was at the christening as a god parent. She gave the log in to my wife to look at because she knows i'm a togger and wanted my limited opinion, thing is my opinion really cant be posted on the board if you know what i mean.
 
I dont want to put the guys site on the open board as its just not nice but would it be possible to pm a few people the details of where to see them just so you know what im on about? Mods let me know if this would be ok please, my eyes cant be the only ones to view these :)

Yeh for legal reasons as well as shaming the guy.

I dont know what they think as my wife hasnt spoke to her friend yet, she's awaiting my response to the photos!!!

I dunno what to say? :bang::thumbsdown:

Tell the truth but gently / tactfully?
But remember we 'togs will look at things differently as well.
What does your wife think of them? ( without any input from you, that is)
Does SHE think that they are acceptable and would SHE be happy with the result ?

 
if the couple are happy leave them be, if they;re not tell them to complain and im sure you can generate a list of technical faults in the images for them to complain about if need be.
 
The wife thinks they are terrible, she found the faults before i looked at them.

I'll reserve myself until i know if the family are happy with them
