We're going to a Christening for a boy and a girl. I'm making them Blurb albums each but have also got the boy a little alphabet train thing that spells his name.

but I can't think what to get for the girl. It needs to be crafty looking like the train and under £10, ideally being able to spell her name/personalise it. I don't like any of the name plaque type things etc

Please someone help, I'm going round in circles now. Starting to wish I'd never seen the train now and wouldn't need to get something for the little girl :bonk:

Thats lovely ,I,m having a look on internet for you

Thanks Eileen, I found that site earlier but didn't really find anything I wanted.

Ideally, I'd like a name train type thing but for a girl with maybe butterflies or ladybirds or something or a princessy type thing.

I did toy with the idea of getting some letters and a couple of wooden bugs and making a mobile but couldn't find anything there either

I was thinking a train but for a girl but cant find any anywhere YET

I dont know if its too expenisve, but for my Niece's christening, I have bought her a silver charm bracelet with the first charm.
It also means you are never stuck for present ideas in the future :)

Thanks Eileen, I think I've been looking too long and can't see the woods for the trees as it were.

Thanks AmyB but a little above the £10 budget mark! This isn't the only pressie that I'm doing, this was just a silly little something. Plus I think charm bracelet is a very personal gift and should be given by someone closer to the children. It's a great idea though and going to keep it in mind for the future.

Thanks for your reply David, again, it's a very personal gift to give a bible and I think I'll leave that to the godparents and family.

Thanks anyway

cant you get one of them bedroom door name plague things ?#

both my girls have them

And yes, I do realise my mistake, it's a baptism not a christening! Sorry
