I'm thinking of a a6000 or an a6300.
I want a camera to last a long time so thinking the a6300 will last longer (in terms of still being relevant) but I'm not sure it's worth the extra money.

Any opinions on this?

Also, what are the bet value lens?

I'm really not that clued up, and getting headaches trying to decipher all the information..

Thanks

The A6300 is very similar I all aspects to the A6000. Its slightly better built body materials and sealing as well as 4K and fractionally faster Auto focus are superb but are they much of a step up over the already great A6000? Probably not..

I personally would look for a second hand A6000 to see if its a body format your happy with then upgrade the body in 6 months or so when your sure.

Yeah it's a fair shout. So many options I'm so indecisive I hate making choices like this.

Ultimately I'd love an A7R but I think that's a while away..

I have the Fuji x system which I use for slower more casual stuff. I then have canon gear when speed is 100% a must as well as Olympus and sony.. My A6000 is my carry camera, its always with me and as an all rounder its great!

I prefer the Fuji pictures. The 7D is miles faster but as a mid ground the A6000 is a winner! Id not bother with the Olympus now mind..

The best advice is to go to a shop and hold all the cameras within your price point and buy the one that feels most natural to use, that is faaaaaaar more important than any difference in specs as there really is no such thing as a bad camera nowadays.
