I have a sony alpha 200, I don't remember which lens, just the stock one, nothing special...
Depending on different situations, and I guess they would be about equal, I either want a zoom lens.. really one that will allow me to get a lot closer to things further away [digital spotting scope? .. I know someone that had one.]
Other times I've been really frustrated because I've wanted to get really close to something really small.. [so macro] .. but I just can't decided on where to get next.
The stock one is alright, and I have a coupla areas I'd like to explore, where it will work fine. [atm just need to models(more on that another time)].
I know that there are variables not set 'this is zoom' or 'this is macro', but that they go to different lengths and such, but I'm just wondering, in other people's experience, which has been more rewarding. [I also understand that it pretty much lands as just personal preference, but I'd like some insight to other people to help make my own decision]
