At the moment until I get my budget back I am having to make do with a canon A570 compact digital which isn't bad for a little camera, picture quality I would say can be as good as my old Canon A1 in some respects however I am looking at an upgrade up to DSLR, my dream would be the Canon Eos 7D, I have looked at the 5D also. the main problems at present is cost and then the lens, I would like something like a 28-210mm, having said all that what is the Canon 550d Like? I have seen this camera on an American website only they call it a T2i Rebel this is probably coming closer to my price range. another question is there any difference between the English and the American version as regards lens fittings Etc? there probably isn't but it helps to check from someone out there that might know better than me guessing.
