"'BOING' said Zebedee...."

Had a nice few hours at Manor Park in Glossop this morning in the blazing sunshine. Kids tired themselves out on the play area before we headed back to Stalybridge to drop Rebecca off at Sams (Her best Friend) as they are off camping in Bakewell for a few days with Sams Mum and Stepdad.

Thanks Lisa.

Its a fun place, but aimed at kids 5-13 (IMO ;)) and priced accordingly (£12.50 per person). We managed to taked 6 hours to get round everything and the queues weren't too bad. As for the shot - what else are you to do on the way up but get a 365 picture :D

Ours is only £11.50 per person  On the website they seem like they cater for toddlers and have a fair bit for them, i guess thats not the case then? Will give them a miss for a few more years

"O.T.T!"

Caitlins Best Friend (Grace) is staying over tonight, so after we collected her we headed over to 'Bouncers', a indoor play area full of trampolines. Once we had finished our session there we headed over to the canal for a walk and a play on the 'assault course' and an ice-cream.

Its amazing how much energy they have, they just DO NOT STOP!!

"Hot Chocolate!"

"CRAP PICTURE ALERT!!!"

Caitlin loves her Hot Chocolate before bedtime at the moment (Made with Milk, with Marshmallows, Squirty Cream and chocolate powder sprinkled on it)

Tonights picture is the result of total lack of enthusiasm to get my arse upstairs to get the E-30 hence ISO 400, 1/4 Second Handheld.

"Mind The Gap!"

The tooth fairy came to visit last night, but luckily they've not been affected by the credit crunch so they still managed to leave £1 under her pillow in exchange for her tooth!

Mmmm that hot choc does look nice, only hot drink ill have, hate tea or coffee!

I would have though the price for a tooth would have gone up by now, been a £1 since i was a kid

It did briefly go up to £2 with Rebecca, but Caitlin 'suggested' £1, and who's the Tooth Fairy to argue!?! ;)

"Sherwood Forest"

Just got back from a lovely day at Sherwood Forest. We had such a good time i thought i'd post three pictures today ;)

You came up my way then :) Never been, any good, oh and did you see any mushrooms about?

Looks like they had fun, nice b&w's.

Thanks Lisa. Its nice if you want a good long walk. Lots of mushrooms around all over the forest floor of all shapes, sizes and colours. There were even some funky ones growing on some of the trees.

The B&W's are straight out of the camera today - LX3 again, set to Dynamic B&W, and it seemed to do an excellent job too!

"NEXT!!"

Just got back from the local hospital where Caitlin had an appointment to try and find the cause of her repeated nosebleeds. She tends to get 4 or 5 a week, and they only last a short while and do not bother her in the slightest.

We have been given some cream to try, but failing that she'll go in and have the small blood vessels at the top of her nose cauterised.

Brave little poppet :) Nice image that one too Chris :)

Thanks Julian. Surprisingly i had no bother from the hospital staff when i took it (after i explained my reasons ;) ), and some of the other parents even moved out of the way for me so it looked deserted ( i have around 15 people out of shot while i took it )

"Going Down The Tube!"

Just a bit of a messing around shot tonight. I heard Caitlin playing in the lounge while i was making tea so i went to investigate (camera in hand obviously!!)

229 - fantastic!

233 - lovely portrait - those eyes!

237 - great fun shot! :)

Thanks Dave :)

Love all your recent B&W Chris, the LX3 is a wee stonker!! :D

Its certainly a fantastic bit of kit and never leaves my person. Took it to York today instead of the DSLR (i actually took the DSLR, just in case. but it stayed in the car)

236... aww poor thing. How nice of everyone to get out the way

237... I like this one, shes got the 'you stopped me playing for this' look

Thanks Lisa, once they knew what i was doing it for, they stopped thinking i was the village idiot and thought it was a good idea.

We couldn't resist this for todays picture ;)

Nice one. :D

Thanks :)

I'm kinda diggin the Space Invaders T-shirt Chris!!

You've went up in my estimations!! ;)

I'm a keen retro gamer, and retro computer collector. I've also got a wardrobe full of retro gaming T-Shirts :D

Hehe, that last image is just how I feel :D

 Love these, reminds me that my dad was always messing about in them!

Thanks Lisa. I want my girls to grow up remembering that, as well as being strict when needed, i was also good fun (hopefully)

Catching up Chris. Love the Sherwood forest shots.

Thanks Marc, not bad for a straight out of camera considering it's just a little compact.
