"Sign Your Name......."

Writing...... Kids don't do that much of it these day, with everything being done on computers. Even homework is submitted on line these days!

I wonder how long it will be before we stop writing altogether?

"SC / HB / FB / AI .......???"

We are starting to look at booking next years holiday in the sun, and i find the whole brochure based decision making process a pain. I'd much rather sit in front of a screen and put my details in.

But the kids love looking through brochures and choosing.

You are correct Chris, I probably write a lot more than many people, all our documentation for certs etc in work is still all handwritten. Behind the times aren't we??

I don't think I've wrote properly since school though, nearly everything except my signature is in block capitals!!

That sounds like me. I really have to concentrate to write in lower case, and as for 'joined-up writing.......'

And both on little P&S's

The handwriting shot is on Caitlins Fuji F20,and todays is on my new toy - a Panasonic LX3 (my neice killed my Oly 1080SW :( )

My handwriting was never brilliant, o.k. but not brilliant.
Now I dread a situation where somebody will see it, I'm so out of practice it's terrible. I jot things down for me to see, like an address or something, but I struggle to read it a couple of days later when it's not fresh in my memory.

and dont get me started on spellcheckers.

The day they invent a pen with a built in spellchecker, i'll be a happy man ;)

Those Panny's are supposed to be the best P&S, very nice

"My Belly Thinks My Throats Been Cut!!"

Well the sun was out this morning, so while we were out shopping we decided to have a BBQ when we got back from watching "G-Force" (in 3D of course ;))

Just catching up - great shots as always. The handwriting discussion strikes a chord with me, I still use a fountain pen with a pot of ink on my desk. Working for a huge IT distributor I see it as a subversive point :)

As for the barbequeue we are lining up for one tomorrow (also on an "outside oven")

"Reservoir Kids"

We took a walk to the top reservoir at Walker Wood in Stalybridge this morning. Its quite a climb, but quite a view from the top. You can see Manchester center, and on a clear day you can see the hills of North Wales.

"My Belly Thinks My Throats Been Cut!!"#

Judging by the last picture I saw, it couldn't have been for very long.....

Only joking as usual, you have just made me hungry. Ta!! :D

:bat:

I'll have you know i'm 16 stone of pure............

"White, Two Sugars Please!"

On a monday, we always have left-over Veg & Potatoes with Cheese sauce, and Rebecca usually helps me. Tonight was no exception. In fact she was even more helpful than usual. And no sooner had i said i was going to have a brew, the kettle was on and she was on with it!

My little Panasonic LX3 was on the microwave so i just grabbed it, and shot. Loving the flexability of this little P&S. If anyone wants a good companion to the DSLR they are well worth considering. I've had mine for 4 days and have shot over 400 pictures with it so far :D

But, you now have an Oly?? Not really a good advert for them. ;)

I wish I had a better P&S, but can't ever see me buying one now. The D40 is my compact!! :D

I know, but my neice killed my little Oly compact so i got the LX3 as it goes to 24mm and F2.0 and is pretty good in low light.

;)

"Deeply Dippy!"

Sometimes the simplist meals are the most enjoyable. My girls, like me, love nothing more than a couple of dippy boiled eggs with soldiers. Kerie, on the other hand is more of a 'Beans on Toast' kind of person.

About 2 and a half minutes is perfect I find. I'll forgive the sin that is a colour photograph. Its just wouldn't have worked half as well in B&W.

Looks yummy. I'm beginning to see a recurring theme here....

Damn, I've just had dinner and I'm really hungry.
Why are these 365's going from beer to food? :D

Thanks Jonny. I do my eggs differently. Boil the water first then put eggs in for 4 mins, turn gas off and leave for a further minute - perfect runny yolks.

The eggs come from a work colleague of Kerie's and you can really 'taste the difference'!!

Food and beer are always a good fallback on a 365 ;)

Plus i'm finding the LX3 will get me shots on the spur of the moment rather than going upstair and getting the DSLR out of the computer room, so im getting more 'mundane' everyday shots :)

"Too Cloudy!"

The idea tonight was to watch the meteor shower, but the wonderful British weather decided to spoil the fun as can be seen in todays shot
