The bonus was with the Tamron 17-50 on the 50D and todays was with the Tamron 90mm Macro - both VERY sharp lenses ;)

"More Bubbles!"

Not much time tonight, so this is pretty much a grab shot, as we are on our way out to Swimming Club shortly.

I have an idea for a good bubble picture for a future 365, so expect more bubbles :)

"Home Run!"

As the weather was glorious again yesterday, Rebecca's guide pack went to the local park for a game of rounders and a general run around.

Everyone had a great time and as ever i was there to capture the events ;)

"Fruity"

We are lucky in that Caitlin loves fruit and is always asking for various types (Mango / Kiwi / Nectarine / Grapes / Pineapple etc).

Rebecca's idea of fruit is along the lines of Chocolate Orange, Toffee Apples and Fruit Pastelles :lol:
 
Some great action shots recently Chris. Love the bubble shot, I was out in the garden this week with the big bubble maker, I enjoyed it so much would not let mummy have a go :D

"Water Babies"

Spent an hour messing with water drops.

Got hundreds of pictures and had real difficulty deciding on a favourite, but this one kind of reminded me of Terminator 2 :lol:

Took my mum and brother to see Star-Trek there last night - Awesome! (i'd already seen it at the local 'standard' cinema, but wanted to 'go-large!' :lol:

"Going To Pieces"

Post Processing Week - Day one.
This week i'm going to be spending time revisiting some of the previous 365 pictures and giving them a bit of Post Processing. I've decided to do this as up to now most of my PP'ing has been limited to a bit of sharpening / curves / crop and thats it. I thinks its about time i learnt a bit more :)

I really like that Chris, nice idea too, great picture to use also ;)

One thing, I would remove the corner lines that show in the top right (sorry don't know what's wrong with me today, looking at everything in detail) ;)

DOH - Forgot all about them (ie deleted wrong layer!!)

Gimme a few minutes to sort and re-upload.
 
That water drop is a bit special, you must have been very determined to persevere with that.

It was actually a really fun afternoon with the kids as we all joined in with the dripping and tripping of the shutter etc :)

Have you seen the one in the macro section (Split Second Timing?) - its a one in a million shot!

Actually I hadn't.
Been away from the forums for a couple of days, with Vicki's birthday and all.
It's mighty impressive, can't say I've ever seen that before, well done!

Post Processing Week - Day 2 (Selective Colouring / Recolouring)
Decided to try my hand at recolouring an image tonight by using layer masks. I purposly chose a simple, but effective, image to practice on.


What next..... :shrug: :lol:
