"Building Under Construction"

Rebecca's History homework task, for half-term, was to build a Norman Castle from houshold waste.

We used two fruit juice bottles, two kitchen roll tubes, two kebab skewers, a large box and a couple of sweet wrappers. Even the drawbridge works ;)

She's quite pleased with the results, and so she should be :)

Now that is homework! :)

Just had a catch up on all this - some cracking shots Chilli :) and well done for keeping going! I think it was about this time last year I was starting to wish I hadn't started, at least yours is a LOT more worthwhile :)

Thanks Tom.

I think one of the reasons i am still 'at it' is that i am not after taking a 'perfect' shot every day, but just capturing the girls lives throughout the year.

:)

Great shot Chris and thats a great Castle Rebecca should be proud

Just a quick and easy 'grab-shot' tonight as i suffering from blepharitis ( a painful swelling of the eyelids), so it is painful to look through the viewfinder of the camera never-mind take a picture. The size of the antibiotics is incredible. I had to double check the packet to make sure they had to be taken Orally and not.........

"Homework....... AGAIN!!"

Technology homework tonight - Rebecca had to find examples of puppets and windchimes and find out various details about them (Size, Function, Safety issues, Type of customer etc)

Dell 2407WFP A04. The daddy of 24" screens :D Got everything a geek would need (VGA / DVI / Component / S-video / Composite / PIP / PBP / Card reader / USB Hub)

Best screen i've ever had (and i've had a few )

"Girls Night Out"

Its Guides tonight. Its one of the Guide Leaders' birthday today, so the guides are having a bit of a party for her, which gives them an excuse to dress-up in their best party clothes.

Can't think of anything to say that hasn't been said about yesterdays, fantastic shot Chris well done mate

Bit of an uninspired shot today, as i've only just walked through the door, and Caitlin is in bed asleep, Rebecca is tired and ready for bed so this will have to do! :(

"What The Butler Saw!"

It's these shots that make a 365 for me. The ones where the author admits it's a grab shot, yet still wants to take it and get the shot in the bag for the project, and not break the daily stride :)

Keep em coming!

Cheers matey, appreciate the comments.

Absolutely knackered and CBA tonight, but like you say, its for the project :)

"Half 'n' Half"

So different, yet so alike. They have totally different attitudes, and behavior patterns, but underneath it all the are not all that different :)

Just in case you can't spot which is which, Rebecca is on the Left, Caitlin on the Right.

This is my first real attempt at editing a picture using GIMP (always been a PSP man until my change over to OSX), and i've found it really powerful, yet easy to use. I'm looking forward to testing out more ideas using it as the 365 progresses.

Been Catching up Chris, some wonderful shots. Love the Half/Half one. I could never get my head around Gimp but give me CS3 and im away :D

Thanks del. Like i said, i was always a PSP man until my switch to OSX then i had no alternative but to either shell out for a package or try GIMP. I'm glad i was skint at the time as i feel right at home with Gimp.

Ooooohhhhh Rice Crispie Buns!!!

Complete with two big packs of marshmellows and 4 tablespoons of syrup. Also threw some Coco Pops in for good measure ;)

As soon as the kids on the street found out they were round wanting some

:lol::lol: It used to be like that with us when we were teenagers! We'd be getting drunk in the back-yard in summer, and mum would be cooking us big pans of popcorn to soak it all up with :D
