"Dont look so down in the mouth!!"

A visit to the Orthadontist today for Rebecca to have the impressions done for her upcoming brace. Years ago kids used to hate having braces fitted, but these days they are like a fashion statement - how times change eh!?

Great stuff Chris, well worth the wait. Love the hoodie!

Thanks Mark.

I'm back on the PC (running OSX) at the moment while I get my iMac sorted, so have access to Lightroom again for sorting the images :)

"Bolt from the blue!"

Went to the cinema in Ashton this afternoon the see 'Bolt'. What a great film - some very subtle humour in there for the adults, along with some more obvious stuff for the kids. I thought Rhino the hamster was the star of the film :)

"Best Friends"

This is Grace, Caitlins best friend who came over to play for a few hours this afternoon.

Good to see you back up and running Chris, some great shots there

AARRRGGGHHH!
I'm dentist phobic, need some stuff doing too, just can't face it. :exit:

i looked at 46 and though mmmm she looks alot different, then read it was a friend lol

That's a lovely shot Chris. If I was being hypercritical, I would say it needs a little levels tweak as it looks a little grey.

Thanks Marc - I thought that too when i looked at it on the forum, but in Lightroom it has a lot more contrast and does not seem as 'flat'

I will investigate and re-post it tomorrow when i have 5 mins spare.

Resizing often does that.

Its just hit me what it could be..... I use LRMogrify to add border and do a sharpen on export, and some custom filters for the B&W conversions, but i've not loaded them up yet on the apple :bang:

Just having a wee Catch up Chris, you kids are going to be sick of your camera by the end of this!!! Though, it does look like they are a lot more comfortable posing.

The Hoody one is great!!

Thanks JD :)

They've always been good at posing, but i've not been so good at explaining what i want them to do :)

So i think it;s me that getting better at instructing :)

Another couple of good'uns Chris. Love 47!

Thanks Marc.

The D700 has certainly allowed me more freedom by the fact that i can shoot really low light without flash and still get a reasonable picture from it. Day 47 was at ISO6400, and i've done a couple of shots at ISO10000

Day 47 is a great shot mate love the illumination on her face from the iPhone.
