Chillimonster's '365'

Put a NSFEyes in the thread title. If my 9yr old is a benchmark for girls, it's not going to be a quiet shot :D

Just been catching up on the 365s and I can't help but look in on this one, great shots, great family. I am wondering how long it will be until the first shot where one of the kids isn't smiling (or clearly enjoying the process as in the shadow pic - which is FAB btw). I'm thinking it's going to be a while, anyone fancy a sweepstake on this - I bags August 24th.

P.S. I like the idea of Badminton too, some where I think I have the stick, not sure on the shuttle, but stick

Thanks Simon, really appreciate the kind words.

"Dib Dib Dib!"

Wednesdays are a busy day for my girls, with Caitlin going to a dancing class, followed by Brownies and Rebecca going to Guides. Luckily they are both within the same building so it makes the logistics of it all a lot easier.

I managed to grab Rebecca for 20 seconds when Caitlin had finished in her Brownies group and get a quick snap of them together :)

Another lovely shot Chris. Have to say, your girls always look really happy and content in what they are doing.

Kudos to you.

This is the first time I've noticed the age differene between them, not sure how but I thought they was maybe a year or so age difference, shows how observant I am  another nice shot mate .

Thaks Sean.

Rebecca seems to have grown-up all of a sudden since going to 'big-school' in September, but i'm expecting Cailtin to catch her up this year as it looks like she's on a growth spurt as well (judging from the ways she's going through clothes )

Hey Chris - Rebecca must be the same age as Heather (11) as she also started 'big school' this year, and by golly you're right, don't they grow up quick :)

My lad is 19 this year and he's all of a sudden matured into a super young man. Talking about Masters degrees this evening... :)

Great thread Chris, great pics... keep 'em coming.

Yup, she is 11 (12 in may), and i cannot believe how quick its gone. seems like only yesterday when i was dropping her off at nursery

Rebecca looks really tall!

She is. She's 11, but wearing uniform labeled at 13-14 / 14

Costing a fortune the speed she's growing. I put it down to all the excercise they both get - it must have triggered a growth hormone or something

"Me & My (other) Girl"

Thursday are similar to Tuesdays in so much as there is a lot going on, so only get to see my two girls for brief moments, and then not together.

By the time i get them together, its late on and they're usually too tired for pictures, so there may be a recurring theme of single shots on a Tuesday and Thursday for a little while.

**EDIT**

I've also added the colour verison for comparison :)

"Gym Class Hero"

iPhone shots only tonight, i'm afraid.

Caitlin is really enjoying her Gym class that she started at the beginning of the year. It helps that she has no fear what-so-ever, and is up for trying anything that is asked of her!

Lets just say my 'Carbon Footprint' is larger than most due to all the taxiing i do for them

Chris I get tired just thinking of all the activities they do  wish I still had that sort of energy.

The 'iGeneration'

Kids are sooo computer literate these days. Rebecca goes to a specialist Maths and Computing school, and they have room upon room of computers. If they go out on a field trip, they take netbooks out with them! Even Caitlin's school has a computer suite and there are less than 200 pupils in total at the school. The most hi-tech we got when i was at school was a new bottle of tipex!

I remember when i first went to secondry school. They had just taken delivery of their first computer - a Research Machines RM380Z. As it had a keyboard it was put in the 'typing' room which was full of old manual typewriters, and they only way i could get access to this wonderment of modern technology was to opt for typing classes. I'm glad i did as it meant i got to play on the RM and get my typing skills up to RSA level III.

They both already had laptops, but i ended up getting them both a Netbook to replace them and stuck OSX86 on there as the apple software really suits this type of machine. Here they are in the middle of an iChat session (even though the are in the same room as each other!). In fact i think Apple are really missing a trick by not releasing a Apple Mackbook Mini!
