Non UK Chicago

I need to make a work trip to the states in a couple of weeks and have a few options as to where I fly back from, one of which is Chicago. I'd hopefully have a day and night to myself for some photogrpahy. Other than to wrap up warm, I'd like some advice. Particularly location wise or anything I should be aware of.

NYC is my back up plan, though it's not looking too much warmer there right now!

Cheers Monkeyballs, some nice locations there, partiularly the ones looking back over the water at the skyline.

I'm genuinely concerned about the suitability of the weather for photography though, a colleague lives out there and has been shovelling snow today, -20C. Eeek.

On the plus side there are a few towers that may be worth going up for some aerial shots indoors!
