Chester?

Hi,

Unsure if this is the right place to post. Mods feel free to move if needed.

Im off to Chester this weekend and want to take some shots. One of my days i will be at the zoo so that is fine. But i have a day spare and will more than likely go into town.

Is there anything of interest to take a look at? i dont want to go and miss something of note.

A good bet is to wander around the walls. I'm sure there will be plenty of photo opportunities along the way.

The Rows, the ampitheatre, the eastgate clock, walk round the town walls

loads to do and lots of good pubs to try too

The old-wall surrounding the city, the canals, the aquarium; these come to mind, and are filled with great opportunities

The huge clock in the centre of Chester, the Cathedral has finally got rid of the scaffolding so that can be good, the walls, the canals, the city centre, the victorian architecture, the amphipheatre, the large park with a huge pond always with wildlife, the River Dee running just by the city centre, walk down the River Dee for loads of idilic scenes, the Deva roman museum, the Cross, the walkways on top of the shops, the Grovesnor Shopping mall, the Cross in the town centre, the Train station. And there's much more as well. It's a great city, thank god I live near there

Lunch at The Albion Pub on Albion Street near the walls, great food, great beer and quirky decor
