No it isnt, it would be alot better if everyone just posted their shots in the same thread save me having to search through all the threads to look for them.

Trust me, its easier for everyone to have their own thread, tried and tested from the Twycross meet.
 
Make one thread in the gallery for everyone to post their shots from the zoo.. EASY.
 
seperate threads i would say, far easier to comment on them that way
 
Can everyone post their shots in their own thread each in the respective sharing forum (which means theyre likely to be mostly animals, so the Animal Forum).

Could you just please put something like [Chester Zoo] in the thread title.

Great Day Guys, just back home - took nearly 3hrs back :(

Got a bit lost at the end of the day; Brains and I had a bit wander, then I lost him.

The smaller groups were far better as it meant we weren't all frightening the animals at once.

Had a quick look at my pics - as usual most are crap, but might have one or two keepers. - It was the first time I'd used the sigma - and also the first time I've used manual focus for most pics - so we'll see.

Didn't get to speak to some of you but it was good to meet up - I take it Mike isn't still walking around the zoo looking for us.:D

I took about 432 raw files, been through and deleted the blurry ones and ones I wasn't happy about and still have 221. Thats not bad going for me, and I have some that I am REALLY happy with, which is unusual for me - including the first picture I took when we got into the zoo, I thought it was a complete non-picture but its got some fab detail in it - I love the 100-400L. Yummy lens.
 
KIM....I guess I wandered too far!

Those last shots of the monkeys running out of those holes in the wall did not come out too well!!

Just posted a couple of the Orangs which came out quite nice.

Thomas had a great time - cheers for asking Allan, he had some pocket money to spend in the shops & was in his element (probably enjoyed that more that seeing the animals!) :thumbs:

I had no idea the Toms car had broken down, didnt he break your camera too Jonny? (starting to think he may be just a little bit jinxed :p )
Had a great time & it was cool to meet everyone (even if you did all leg it as soon as my back was turned :lol: )
 
It looks like you lot enjoyed yourselves.

I had intended turning up, I even finished work early.
But sometimes, sleep gets the better of you.:(
 
I had a half price voucher with your name on it that I couldn't give to anyone else because we didn't know if you were coming or not.

lol my car didnt break down, I just left my lights on because of the fog on the way over :o Just needed a bit of juice to get it to start.

Yea, my luck with touching other cameras didnt seem to be very good did it, literally held jonnys camera and made it Err99 :o how completely and utterly random THAT was.

I'd have really liked to have made this one! It was quite a way though, and i was a little hung over :( haha

So, where's the next one? :D How about somewhere that's not a zoo :eek:
