Chemicals for developing Portra

Hi all,

Looking into home dev'ing portra and some provia 100f fairly regularly - am i after tetenal kit or RA4 kit?

Apart from the chemicals anything else I need? - im assuming it all works in the same way as BW dev i.e film into tank - chemicals in certain order for certain amount of time etc.

C41 for negatives (Porta), E6 for slides (Provia). Tetenal do kits for these processes.

I like the Rollei set for C41 as well:

Pretty much the same as B&W, just need to be more critical in maintaining temperatures.

Just to further clarify, colour printing.

Search YouTube for c-41/e6 tutorials, lots of bathroom/kitchen sinks being used for it.

I use tetenal C-41 and E-6 kits to develop my colour negs and slide films in a processor, but as already said lots of people doing it by keeping everything up to temp in kitchen sinks...I develop at 38 degrees but think you can also develop at a lower temp with some adjustments using the tetenal kits..
