They dont need to... its only if they are moving from seat to seat the problems begin. I was thinking of getting the roof and knave in etc..

Yea, thinking about it that would make an awesome shot - even in a smaller church it would provide an excellent memory for the B&G. I've seen some amazing wide angle wedding/church shots but I can see how it would be better if folk were recognisable.

a lot of mucking about for this, plus looking at the cameras they support my two are not in the list, I would prefer just buying a pano head for the tripod.

C,mon guys whatever happened to a level and do it yourself! the merge to pan is available in Photoshop and canon even supply something to do this with... . save your money and buy some decent glass.

not that I would every buy it (even though it looks interesting), this would be more than just 4-5 shots merged to panorama in photoshop.

I did one recently that was as easy as 1-2-3 from 26 images. That thing doesnt combine them it just points the camera at spaces on a grid... Its just a robot innit? Honestly... Photoshop can do it all just give us the images....

They seem to have different versions, and some of them seem to fit some DSLR's. However on the .org site.. http://gigapan.org/gigapans/37984/ seems to be taken with a cannon mark2

reason i ask is i have the 5dmkII as in your picture
but cannot seem to find a place over here that sells them.

biggest fault with them is the time it take to stitch the pictures together
there was a report on BBCclick about it they used a pocket camers over 200 images say 10 mega pix camera it tooooooook 1 day and a half on a decent pc to join the picture.

so can you imagine how loong it may take to do one on mine @21.5 mega pixells
