I have only just managed to cut out a lot of my spam mail, not in a rush to build it up again.
 
well ive not had spam from it, ive read all terms and conditions and there all ok,have a read for yourself, 20 refferals and supposedly you get a free d90. oh and please take down my email address.

well ive been signed up for about a week and had nothing yet.
 
i dare say those 20 referals have to get 20 referals too before you see a free camera.
 
well ill see. its worth a try. ive got 13 so far so when it hits 20 ill see if i get it,if i dont then its no skin off my nose.lol
 
im going to investigate the site further, in the meantime, ive removed the link from the original post. Seems to me that you have to do something through an affiliate offer to qualify, so its advertising for a company that is getting something for your (unintentional) advertising on TP
 
Remember if an offer sounds too good to be true IT IS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. Think about it, no company is going to give away hundreds of £s worth of goods for nothing.

that says to me that the referals you give have to do something on that site, take out an offer with one of their affiliates, like insurance, surveys etc.

Usually with these things it's a case of the 20 people you have referred need to take out a subscription from a choice of various sites/services like insurance quotes or renting movies etc. Still no idea if you'd ever see a camera at the end of it all though. :shrug:

Seen them try this offer for various things 'free' plasma tellies, laptops, game consoles, phones and the like but never been tempted myself after reading the small print. Just another type of pyramid scheme imo.
 
Why does this remind me of the "Microsoft are tracking this email, forward this email to 10 people and Microsoft will pay you $1000" nonsense. I mean how gullible are you to believe you'll get a free camera from a few mouse clicks! :shake:
 
I can't see how this could possibly work. How can any company afford to give away free cameras? I'm not buying it for a second.
 
oh well your choice. but its worth a go even if i dont get anything i dont really care, im bored at the moment so what the hell. oh and im not gullible im just very bored at home, and whats to loose.
 
If you don't get a free D90 from this can I interest you in buying the Eiffel Tower? The French government have asked me to sell it for them....

No...you're probably right. No way it's a scam. You refer 20 people to a website, no-one has to buy anything and someone gives you a £500 camera.

anyway i know i wont get anything for free as i pay my taxes and im not on the dole! maybe ill give up my job and claim benefits as you get eveything free then! lol

The only way you'll get a D90 from the DSS is if you're behind someone in the queue to sign on that worked for Jessops and managed to nick one on the way out the door :lol:
 
sorry to say this, but 20 referrals would not generate enough traffic on the site to justify a D90's cost. This is assuming this site is legit, and even with 50% people do not get the referrals but tries anyway, the site traffic would still be rubbish in terms of unique click/visit and it won't have any significance for advertising purposes, which most of the commercial sites do either by selling ad space on the site or by cashing in small (i mean pennies) commissions via each unique clicks.

this is definitely a scam or hoax.
 
id rather get a free house, all i have to do is get the mrs up the duff and loose my job. not a bad deal ehh!:thumbs:

Well I've taken down his email address. Nothing is happening. I've got no free D90 or anything. Was I supposed to write it down on special paper?
 
a quick google for the operators freesitealliance.com gets lots of affiliate sites, lots of complaints and so far as I can see - nobody boasting of actually getting anything.
