Hi all,

Sorry I wasnt sure where to put this post.

I've been informed that you can use Google to check to see if your image is being used elsewhere without your consent....

Go to Google Images, on the search box click the 'camera' and upload or enter the URL for one of your images online and see the results.

has anyone tried this ? I have and it shows where I have put my photos online IE Shutterstock.

I tend to make the image file names known to me, although I cannot yet find out if social media websites like Facebook and the like use them?

Usually not, they compress the images and file names are regenerated.
