cheapish but not rubbish prints?

I've been asked to print out a load of photos of the children for the grandparents.


So we've gone through the pics and it looks like I need 3 sets of 250 prints.

So where can I go to get reasonable prints at a cheapish price? Looking for 6x4 and any experience of how they treat 4/3 format images would be useful (crops?black lines?/streeeetch marks?)

Are any of the supermarket things any good?

dscolourlabs are cheap, good and fast 6*4's go down to 6p if you're ordering 150+, on lustre or glossy paper too...

alternatively, people on here have had good experiences with aldi.

Photobox will do 6 x 4 @ about 5p per print.

www.aldiphotos.co.uk are 5p for 6x4s, I use them for my 8x12's(34p) and they come on Kodak Royal paper

As well as Photobox and Aldi mentioned already, I've had loads done at Tesco without a problem. 6x4 at 5p above the minimum number, which I can't remember, but well below 750.

for something like this Sainsburys have photoshops you pay 5p each

Used Bonusprint for years and they have always been smack on and very reasonably priced

Snapfish here, never had a problem with them. Matt finishes are always superb

If you signed up to bonus print, jessops, tesco, snapfish etc. then you could probably get them done for free with enough email addresses. Take advantage of the sign up deals, 40 free prints here and there and all FOC.
