Cheapest way to send a large package - 185cm x 15cm

Hi,

It seems a lastolite train is annoyingly large.

I've looked at ParcelForce and they're coming in at £28.27 + VAT (its 8KG) + £10.77+VAT (5KG)

Any ideas non a cheaper alternative - I looked at interlink but its bigger than their max size - interparcel will do it but only via TNT and that comes in at £46 + VAT which is even more.

I have now found CityLink via http://www.myparceldelivery.com/ is £32.70 plus VAT (for both), so so far they're winning.

lol, great start - no collection - no contact - in all day with huuuge bay windows and a very noisy dog so they cannot say they we were out, no doubt they will.

I did contact myParcelDelivery at around 16:00 and they said - anytime until 18:00... great giving a monkeys there - so far not impressed, luckily the person whos getting the package is pretty laid back, much more so than I would be.

Still thats a full day of waiting in for my poor wife (in glorious weather to boot) including making arrangements for someone else to pick up my daughter from school, only no doubt to have to do it again on Monday.

lol, time for the telescopic fork and a bite of hubble pie - they just turned up - still very late though, but a nice fella.

Now for phase two - find a good cheep second hand 60D to spend my pennies on
