Cheapest way into Wide Angle :Nikon D90

Well if you read the post about 3 up you would have noticed that I am opting for the eBay route for now?!??

If you mean like that that £40 pictured further back, you'd be as well chucking the money in the fire.

Don't think I do, maybe I'm just not silly?
I appreciate the help in the thread ( not sarcastic). But I don't use my slr a great deal do justify that spend. Sometimes it's weeks and I haven't even touched it. I just wanted a play around with something else. I know the eBay route is far from perfect but I'm happy giving it a go

I've been there and done that, all you end up with is boxes full of junk that have no resale value, at least if you buy a decent lens you can resell it and get most, if not all, your money back later on.

Okay its not a "professional" add on, it you are needing a fish-eye for a commission, then fair comment, but I have used the addon quite a lot, my daughter as used it a lot for her art work and likes the result.

i can't justify £hundreds to "try to see how it looks", but I had seen one of these being used before and it is good enough for me.

I don't sell photographs or have "commissions", or try to exhibit photo's , these cheap lens work good enough for my needs.
