Cheapest uk stockist for 5dmk3

I saw that Currys were stocking it for £2229 - cheapest I have seen that's genuine UK and not grey imports.
 
Curry's had it for £2485 last week but it looks like they are out of them now.

The big stores are all around the £2684 now.

Then of course you have Flash Camera at the £2399 mark with HDEW at £2179.

I believe they are grey imports from the US
 
I bought mine from Hdew cameras for £2,789 when the price first started dropping in march but I can't see anywhere else in the UK anywhere near their price. £2,179 with a 3 year guarentee is a fantastic price. Only place I've seen cheaper is at Panamoz, which is £1,995 IIRC if you pay by bank transfer and if they have any in stock.
 
i got mine from DigitelRev for £2169.

there is absolutley no reason to get it local and not grey import from places like DigitelRev. You are justw asting money personally getting it for like £500+ more here

Kerso's (Flash Camera) are US sourced and I believe HDEW can be Asia / US sourced.

Both have a very good reputation (esp Kerso) on here and Canon will cover warrenty as they provide a UK invoice...

Is the warranty provided by digitalrev or kerso same as a uk purchased product from a uk store?

Not sure about DR, but with Kerso's you deal with Canon directly, as though you'd bought it from a UK store.

I think with digital rev, you deal with them and they either authorise or arrange for repairs (I'm sure someone will confirm or amend this for def)
 
Don't know about Digitalrev, but Kerso's is. I have a 5D3 and 1DX from him.

The way it works on DR is that u send it off to canon uk, canon will send u a bill, u then send that bill to DR and they will pay for the repair.

1 year warranty with DR

thanks for that. sounds a bit of a protracted affair though. will see who is cheapest and decide from there....
