Hi all, just wondering where I can get a legitimate copy of LR at the lowest price? I want to start PP'ing my photos properly.
Any ideas? Cheers :)
 
Be careful, I found a few prices that looked too good to be true, when I checked for feedback on the retailers on various review sites they were too good to be true!

I'm probably going with Amazon.

You may aswell just get photoshop CS4/5
I have CS5 but theres not much improved on since CS4

Not sure how much it is now though, I got mine for free from the company I used to work for.
 
Looking at your location, I think you'd have difficulty buying with a UK licence. Am assuming you are US based.

Adam why the comments about CS4/5 instead? They are different bits of software for different jobs. LR is an incredibly powerful tool, as your business takes off you will find just how useful it is
 
I work in (Western) Australia but I am UK based, back every so often for R&R.
I think LR is a totally different animal to photoshop? From what Ive read LR is the perfect tool for me for basic post processing.
 
LR's a totally different animal to photoshop.

CS5 is a big step over CS4 too, all the tools have improved, dodge and burn being one of them. Content aware is amazing for anything involving grass and removing stray hairs.

Not perfect but well worth the jump.

sorry, I was trying to work out which US state WA was :gag:

LR is a totally different beast, but its not basic. Its probably the perfect tool for most post processing though
