Yes
Does anyone know one? My only request is that i get my own bathroom lol.
Its just for two nights from the 19th to the 21st dec, i've looked at travelodge and they want 155 (ish) for the two nights for two of us, which isn't unreasonable. But i'm a poor student so i figured i'd ask if anyone knew anywhere cheaper?
xx

Few here But i'm not sure just how central you want to be.

..... You don't get your own bathroom though!
Steve.

Steve,

Did you notice, "two nights for two of us"? Maybe they need their own bathroom ;)

Try Laterooms.com as well - usually some bargains on there.

Use them a lot for work trips, only thing I would say though is read the reviews for your shortlisted hotels !! - Schoolboy error I made on Monday and I'm still suffering post traumatic stress now...

Well. if they get up early enough they can have the bathroom to themselves!

Seriously though, the youth hostels are a good way to stay somewhere cheap. My wife used to work at one of our local high schools and would regularly go to Arran in Scotland with a school trip. We went once and stayed at the same youth hostel. It was great and the cost was minimal.

Steve.

Apart from Easy Hotel, the cheapest nightly rate with ensuite in central London was about £55-65, obviously more like to find the cheaper prices the earlier you book.

Late Rooms is useful, but make sure you read any reviews available so don't get any suprises. That Travelodge price isn't bad for the time of year and what you want

not sure of your plans, but might be worth looking for somewhere in zone 3.. its much cheaper than central london.
I live in Brentford and there is a Holiday Inn, Travelodge and Premier Inn here, and it only takes 25 mins to get into central London.

try Superbreak - they seem to have the best deals - the people in the travel industry seem to use them when on a tight budget

Haveing spent las weekend in London chep and central don't exist unless you can book early enough and grap the easy hotels.

We decided to avoid the £300+ hotel for a weekend styed further out and drove in. yeah we drove in, got there early enough on the saturday and parked at park lane underground car park in the center of park lane and it was £10 for the whole day till 7pm. Sunday you can park on the streets for free or the same carpark is £5 for the day. total cost was about £115 for the weekend with parking even blagged parking at the hotel who wanted £10 per 24 hours. central london hotels want up to £50 per 24 hours for parking. The only downside of this is if you want a break during the day you can't unless you make the trek out to the hotel.

i use www.hotwire.com almost every week. It's an american site and wont tell you which hotel you're in until you've paid but you can pick the rough area you want to be in.

Always cheaper than lastminute.com.

register with Britinia hotel group, they will then send you mails with offers, suck as 2 nights B&B& evening meal for £30 / night. Must register.

Ask for Vinny (He is a Malteser)

Tell him Tommy the Tiler recommended you and he will sort you out. He even has a few parking spaces.

Great little hotel just off the Edgeware Road, Hyde Park Corner.

Stayed there many times when digging it in London, tried the rest but this is very good for a central location.
