Cheap Tripod for an Amateur

Hi all,

Ive just ordered the new lumix fz150 and I've never ever used a tripod. I'm just after a really cheap one, I know it can be false economy but after spending nearly £400 on the lumix things are kind of tough, especially when I'm 23 and paying for a wedding haha

All advise is greatly appreciated.

+ vote on any of the Hama Star Tripods.

Just keep it away from very cold weather as the plastic and rubber O tend to go a bit brittle.

Might be worth saving and buying a good one. No point buying a cheap one and you find it does not hold the camera well.

It would not be good if the camera falls off...
