Hi Wez, Would this fit a 300mm in do you think?

trust me you will be impressed,it fits my laptop d90 with 50mm , 55-200 ,18-55 and flash gun in the bottom.and that's only the bottom plenty room up top :D:D

the lens partitions are 15cm deep it fits my 55-200 in with hood attached. il post some pics up in a minute. the upper compartment would take a large lens easy

the bottom is fairly small id say if you have a lot of kit, but plenty big enough for me (body and 3 lenses and flash)with the added bonus of the thick padding and laptop capabilities

Excellent, just what I was looking for a camera bag that had space for an iPad / laptop.

Thanks for posting!

Thanks Wez, I too have just ordered one.

I have been looking for a light bag that will hold my 24-70 and 17-40 while I'm out and about as well as lunch waterproofs etc. I love Lowepro bags so win all round

Thanks again

Neil

That's mine just arrived. Really pleased. Best 30 quid I've spent in a while

Just waiting for the wife to leave the room so I can order one now! ;)

Got mine delivered to work today.
Really nice bag - thanks OP!
Managed to get home before the wife and felt guilty 'sneaking' it into the house.
:D

Will it fit a gripped D300?

Thanks Neil.

Ideally want to carry a Gripped D300 with 18-70 attached. Then have space for a 50mm + Flash gun.
I would put my 70-200 2.8 in the day pack section when I bring that.

Reckon this would fit my needs?

Possibly. May be a wee bit tight. Have a look here on Cambags.com and there are various set ups. Admittedly most are Canon but there is one with a D60 (smaller than the D300 I know) with a lens attached. May give you a better feel.
