Trying to help an acquaintance. She's on a very limited budget and tring to set up a business for paintings are other artwork. it will be an info ration and gallery site.
Bit of a minefield knowing which co's are reliable.
 
I use Hostgator for my hosting needs

I keep my domain name registrations separate from my hosting

For .co.uk domain name registrations I use UK Reg

For .com domain name registrations I use Namecheap
 
123 reg for domain registration.
unlimitedwebhosting.co.uk for web hosting. £3.30 a month unlimited (allegedly)
 
I have a Hosting server that is underustilized, so if i can be of any help send me a PM with what she requires :)

One.com is good, although you can't upload with anything other than IE!
 
If she is setting up a web-based business then web hosting is the very last thing she should be economising on
