Cheap compact recommendations - ?

Hey guys.

Can anyone recommend a good, relatively cheap compact camera? I'm almost certain I saw a Sony advertised for around £60 recently?!
 
I don't know off-hand, but assume if you look at an argos catalogue you'll find something you like.

Or you could look second hand fora compact - it's riskier but people seem to get though their compacts pretty quick nowdays so there are some bargains to be had...

The Panasonics are very good, as are the Canon IXUS range. We bought a Panasonic P&S earlier this year and have been very pleased with it - we chose it over the equivalent Canon model at the time due to slightly better feel, didn't want a view finder on a P&S and it had a better optical zoom.

I picked up a Canon Powershot A480 when Argos did it half price. 10mp and its compact enough for what I need. They did it for £60. I know the offer has finished but as someone said, check argos they do seem to always have a compact on a reasonably good offer.
