Afternoon, looking for a cheapish black background solution, either paper or cloth,
any suggestions?
Thanks

Black velvet is the best choice by far, as long as it really is velvet - the shiny 'velveteen' or faux velvet' is useless because it reflects a lot of light.I got some black velvety stuff from a haberdashers. It's only so wide though (think it's 2m) so to get a really wide background you need to sew two pieces together.
Hi Russ, can I ask how sturdy you think this frame is? I would like to use this with little ones but don't want them getting squashed if they manage to tip it over! It does seem great value for money though

The genuine article, brushed so that the nap all goes in the same direction, is brilliant but expensive.
Second best - black cotton (muslin).
After that, in decending order, is paper and vinyl.
Nope...any discounts on muslin if purchased at the training day? and as a big previous spender?
