I already have one that suits me perfectly and I believe it would be smaller than a version that could carry both laptop and DSLR.

Backpack or messenger bag style?
If backpack, I have the Lowerpro Fastpack 250 which is a great bag. I don't own a laptop so haven't used the laptop compartment but it looks like there's enough padding.

I have a Kata DR 466i and LOVE it!!!

Plenty of room for a 17" laptop, gripped dslr, 3 lenses, a cpl of flashguns and all other goods like spare batteries, filters, chargers, triggers etc.

think it cost me about £50

Kata for me, I have the version before this and it's great:)

I'm amazed no one hasn't already mentioned it. Look for GEM Professional Camera Case / Backpack on Amazon and eBay. I've got one and it's awesome!!!!

Do you think you can get a gripped D700 & D90 with lenses attached 24-120 & 18-200 and a 15.6 laptop. SB800 Flash and chargers for camera and lappy?

I have the Lowepro Backpack mentioned here.

Very well put together camera bag.

Carries my camera with 18-200 lens, spare 100-300, flash gun and charger no problems.

I think the OP needs to clarify what lenses etc he carrying so we don't overkill on the size of bag he need?!

Are you looking to carry just the laptop and camera stuff or would you like space for other bits and bobs, e.g. water, snack, etc.
Because 2 different bags the size of fastpack 350 would carry different amounts.

Probably be easiest if you say what you want to be carrying.

I would need space for 450D + 2 lenses with the size of the kit lens + laptop + jacket

The Lowepro fastpack 250 will take that easy!

Just use a normal backpack it will be a lot easier and way more flexible. There's really not a great of point in getting a dedicated camera bag for this kind of use. A normal backpack/messenger bag will let you carry around your everyday stuff, and wont make you so much of a mugging target (if you care about that kind of thing :D).

Once again looking for bag but this time with specific size or at least close to 55cmx40cmx20cm as a hand luggage for a flight, or if anyone has used any other bag as hand luggage on a flight :)
