I think mine was my timer remote, a cheapy clone from HK, that I got for £18 + delivery, instead of the £100+ Canon one.

Brought a D200 a few months back for £375 from a shop with warranty. :)

Got a 2nd hand Canon 85mm f/1.8 and an unused 430 EX II as part of a job lot for about £1000 - by the time I sold off the other pieces they ended up costing me about £5-10 and would have been free if not for eBay taking such high fees!

A new Canon 5D from PC World for £699.97

I got a Canon EOS 1000FN, the Canon EF 35-105mm, a cobra 400AF flashgun, wide camera strap, batteries + 2 film for £28 postage included.

Mine has to be last year on E-Bay, A kirk ground pod with a Kirk BH-1 ball head, both as new at a bargain Buy-It-Now price of only £70.:) :woot:

I've not had any real bargains - my D700 which I got via Nikon Cafe I guess, although hardly cheap as chips!

I think I probably tend to pay too much for stuff half the time!

I just waiting for the seller of the £700 "new" D700 advertised on Gumtree to get back to me. They haven't been able to sell it, so I can have it for £450, apparently. :)

Lowerpro Slingshot 100AW for a tenner brand new, retails at £70.
Sigma 70-210 Nikon fit for a tenner off ebay as well!

I just ordered a BG-E4 for £99 from MBP Photographic :D
The camera store in town had one for 4900Kc (~£155) 2nd hand or 6900Kc (~£217) new

BG-E3 brand new for £38 - pricing error - normally £108.
Sigma 24-60 EX for £44 - discontinued stock at work - normally £200.
Manfrotto 190XB for £75 - staff discount at work - normally £110.
Canon 40D for £390 - using cashback, vat reclaim and staff discount - was normally £650 - sold my 350d with accessories for £400 :D

All separate occasions! All in all I've had a bunch of bargains!

Canon 16-35mm F/2.8 - £600
Sigma 120-300mm F/2.8 - £879

But I think it has to be my old Canon 400D battery grip.
I bought new from ebay seller - £70 received two of them.

sold one back on ebay for same price I paid, then sold the other one with 5+ batteries for £125. :)

Mine has to be my current Sigma 100-300 F4 EX. Purchased with a 1.4x convertor, a 2x convertor & 82mm Sigma EX front filter for the princely sum of £400 delivered - purely be beeing a cheeky git on ebay.

STill loving the Sigma 1.4x Teleconverter for £48 from jessops...also the £550 24-105 L Brand New in New Zealand with full international warranty!

Hmmmm, it would have to be:
Canon 430ex Speedlite, No box but as new with a sto-fen diffuser - £60 from a private sale on photographers.co.uk
Tamron 70-200 f2.8, No box but mintier then a packet of polos - £350 from Aperture UK

My EOS 300 cost me -£10 I got it with a kit lens and 70-210 F4 on the bay and sold the lenses on to members here for fair prices which left me the camera, the case and a ten pound note.

I also picked up the 70-210 F4 in my kit back for £65 quid on ebay which is about £30 less than they usually fetch.

Got a refurb Fuji s5 pro £350 off the Fuji site, looks brand new

I bought a bunch of stuff last month which I don't really need (yet), but I'm expecting to need in a couple of months time. If I'd gone out and bought the same lot today it would cost me an extra £2,013. And counting...

A lightly used Lowepro Stealth Reporter 300AW for £14.99.

Nikon SB80 for 50 quid
Nikon 80-200 for 250 quid

1.4 and 2x mk2 Canon extenders minty for £110 each.

5D, 30D and 45mm t&s lens for £2000 when the 30D was only just introduced.

Ooooooh I just love a bargain.

My best so far, to do with photography, was my Lowepro Rezo 140AW bag from PC World - cost me £1.97 a couple of weeks ago - I think they're normally about £30-£40 so quite a saving :)

I was also quite chuffed to get my D90 + kit lens for £700 especially when 2 days later it went up to £799.

Alison :)
