Browsing around at 550D kit prices, I noticed that, whilst the going rate seems to be around the £540 mark and Amazon themselves sell it for this, there are loads of other sellers on Amazon's site selling it for well under £500, some as low as £450!
Where's the catch? Some of these sellers seem to have good ratings but I'm wondering if these are likely to be grey imports, possibly even branded as Rebels if from the US, and as such any warranty is going to be with the vendor rather than Canon.

there are rarely ever deals on this stuff, and if so it would usually be straight from Amazon/other main seller if there was any big promotion on it.
