Yes
right been using poundland vista colour film and wishing they did b&w film at a pound but sadly they dont seem to
where are folk buying b&w film on the cheap if it does exist seems amazon and ebay prices have shot up
cheers all

Macodirect is often a good place to buy, but you need to buy quantity because of their minimum 40 Euro quantity and 15 Euro delivery charges (both approximate, haven't needed to buy for a while!).

Also check out Mr Cad, Mathers and Fotoimpex (also in Germany so the same postage rules apply just like Maco)

Well you could also process Vista for B\W or convert to B\W using Photoshop if say dev at Asda.....but the results I assume won't be as good as proper B\W film.

I was going to suggest bulk rolling Eastman (kodak) 5222 (Double-XX) motion picture film. I bought a 400' roll for £120 but prices seem to have gone up a little of late!

Fomapan and rollei films are cheap and typically offer à décent result although i personally dislike the fomapan 400 speed films.

Sometimes it's à better option to buy à higher class film in batches of 10 rolls or more and weather for bulk buy price réductions.......all dépends what qualité you want in your final images.

Cheap is good and necessary for most of us, however it's not always cost effective!

I can't say much about it because i haven't use it but their some really cheap fomapan around. A tchec photorapher i met tell me it is good enough but quiet flat in term of contrast so it was a good film to scan.
10 rolls 36 exposure for 30£

I find other film are likely around 50£ for 10 rolls of 35mm. But since i developp and scan my black and white this make it not very expensive at the end.

Thanks for that yes I will be developing and scanning at home too
