Best place for cheap 35mm colour and B&W please?

Need to practice with new toys that I don't have a clue about yet so don't want to spend much!

If these will be used for testing camera I would suggest you look somewhere like 99p shop or online. It doesn't need to be good quality film.

Poundland store.... Agfa Vista for £1

Poundshop/land for hideous Kodak colour print film as Helen says, good for testing cameras and not much else. For cheap b&w Lucky 100, Fomapan and Adox from the likes of Mr Cad, A-G Photographic and Silverprint are all pretty useable.

Thanks for suggestions, people.

Will be looking in Poundland during the week.

Agfa? My Poundland carries something called Kodacolour 200...

Well I would guess they would till all the film is sold, but with Kodak putting up prices I can't see how Poundland could make a profit and that's why they probably switched to Agfa........and I'm buying all I can (i.e. Agfa) as if they can't get that and make a profit they will stop selling film.

Not forgetting that adding say 10% to dev times (ymmv) you can use bw chemicals for colour film to develop to BW... yes you will get a denser image but better £1 a roll for colour film done in BW than £3-£4 for BW film - especially for testing.

Thanks for that!

Best place for cheap 35mm colour

PM me your address and I'll see if I have some more cheap'n'nasty from Jessops stashed away (they keep giving me 35mm back every time I have 120 developed ). I may even still have some prepaid out-of-date Boots slide film that I cleared their shelves of at an insanely cheap price.

A promise of a donation to the RNLI is always welcome to cover postage costs..

Thanks very much for the offer, Alastair but found a couple of Konica 200 in a drawer!

Isnt Vista rebadged superia?

Well there are not many companies making film now, so it could be Fuji C200 and I would have to take many more shots using Agfa to say IMO it's superia.

its fuji something, I remember reading it somewhere. If you look in the box it says made in Japan... Same as Tudorcolour XL.
